FAQ's

Q: How can a home owner recognize when a roof system has problems?

A: Roof system problems are mostly discovered after leaking or when other serious damage occurs. Deteriorated, cracked, warped or missing shingles; loose seams and deteriorated flashings sealants; excessive de-granulation and others are typical visible signs of roof system problems. Indoors, look for cracked paint, discolored plasterboard and peeling wallpaper as signs of possible roof deficiencies.

Q: What are my options if I decide to reroof?

A: Consider replacing the roof with better than average materials and use a professional installer that can offer you the value of skill and experience. There is at times more than one way to replace a roof and you ultimately will have to trust the integrity and experience of the contractor you hire to make your investment worthwhile. Do it once and do it right!

Q: My roof leaks. Do I need to have it replaced completely?

A: Not necessarily. Some roof issues can be eliminated by performing proper repairs. Some roof leaks may not even be related to the condition of the materials. A complete roof system failure, however, generally is irreversible and a result of improper installation, deterioration or poor selection of materials.
